Musical director Liz a former student of the Royal College of Music at Manchester, has been involved with choirs from the age of seven, becoming a conductor at 14. As a member of the Edinburgh Festival Choir, she sang under such renowned names as Arthur Oldham, Daniel Barenboin, and Sir Adrian Boult. Liz became our Musical Director in 1989. Her infectious enthusiasm transmits itself to the whole group, which must now be one of the premier choirs in the East Midlands.
Accompanist Teresa is a long standing member of the choir. A local girl she joined the choir in 1981. She is well known as a school pianist and for her skills as a Piano Teacher. |
